Lets face it when you saw the team this morning if you knew much about football you would have been thinking:
1. OOOH - risky playing a goalie with no experience behind a defence with...........no experience
2. Doesn't the manager rate any other England forwards? Obviously not, cos he's changing the system of play completely to avoid playing Defoe or Bent.
3. Doesn't Beckham + Crouch seem like a good idea?
4. The pitch is ****e innit? If so, why not play blokes who can play accurate long balls like Beckham?
5. 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 aren't 4-4-2 are they Stevie boy? For once, in a big game like this, why not play to your strengths?
6. As with 5 above why not play with as much experience as possible. I know I've harped on about Beckham above, but it was blindingly obvioud he should have played tonight for so many reasons.

To be fair the Euro Champs are a load of ****, International competition starts and ends at the World Cup.

Anyways its a pity non of the home nations and Ireland qualified as it makes for a poor euro's in terms of interest. England would offer more to the Euros then half the teams that have qualified.

Ok the game now, Croatia deserved to win no doubt about it. what the hell was he doing playing just one upfront at home. They were given a lesson in football again.

Carson........................not good enough for one of the top teams in England and is on loan to a middle of the table team

Richards......................good player will get better

Campbell....................finished as an international player shows how bad england are when a 33/34 year old is the only one in reserve

Lescott.....................****e player and if thats the best england have in reserve again then there is a reason why they havent qualified

Bridge.......................second choice in his club and has hardly played in the last 8 months

Wright-Phillips..............average player who has spent most of his time at his club on the bench or in the stand

Gerrard.......................clearly cant play with Fat Frank and wont ever play well with him was useless tonight.

Barry.......................captain of a middle of the prem team

Lampard...................useless overrated lucky player who has Essien and Maka at Chelsea to make him look good

Joe Cole...............a jack of all trades a master of none not anywhere near a good player just full of tricks

Crouch...............4th choice at his club says it all really

England when you look at it have fook all world class players and not many good players
