Hopefully this bodes well for World Cup qualification for Scotland. I'd like to see Northern Ireland qualify too. Teams with a bit of spirit.

Points-wise, aye, i'll give you that - a sterling effort that i sang and cheered with intent.

That said, per capita NI have done really, really well, especially considering we couldn't buy a goal a few years ago and now we boast a record-breaking scorer beating Mr. Suker's 12-goal record.

Anyway on track... well done the Scots, a helluvu a group that they nearly qualified from... i felt the pain.

Hopefully England will now be second seeds (deservedly) and parity will be closer.
