Alan Shearer isnt the right choice for Newcastle. He has no experience and just because he was a good player wont mean he'll be a good manager of that Circus.

They need to be stripped down from backroom staff to players.

A joke of a club for many years.

They need a world class club manager like Man City have with Sven someone who will be able to attract top names and has a good eye for player in Europe

The obvious choice, should they wish to change Manager would be Houllier - get them playing on the counter, sort the defence out and build the team for a fit Owen, or his ready made replacement Martins.

Rozenhal looked good for the Czechs against Cyprus the other week, but then again I guess facing Okkas and Konstantinou is not quite the same as facing Torres and Kuyt.

I found the stories over the weekend funny, if fat sam doesn't win on wednesday he will be sacked. They might as well have sacked him on Monday as they have no chance against Arsenal.

More than a little risk attached to most of their summer signings - only Viduka and Geremi, and to a lesser extent Smith and Barton were potentially good purchases. The rest, IMO, scream HIGH RISK.
I would have assumed that at least in the short term that Faye would have been a good purchase as he understood Alladyces methods and was in the sort of position where he could communicate that to others. Obviously so far it hasn't panned out that way.

                    Probably.

Easily the most fickle fans in the land.

Can't wait for Shear-rah to take over. For starters he's a complete halfwit with no charisma. God knows how he'd motivate players on the training ground when he's about as interesting as a cardboard box. Listening to his punditry on the England Vs Croatia game, tactically he knows absolutely **** all, it was all clichés, he was virtually a parrot for Alan Hansen. Still that will probably fool the FA or England into giving him a job, because lets face it if Gary Lineker thinks he'd "make a good coach or manager" then what chance have Newcastle got?
