Group C looks like a bit of a killer. I think the defending champions will be reasonably pleased with that group. While I'd love to see the Greeks stun the footballing world again, I'd rather see our boys do well, so I'm firmly behind the Spanish in this one. Hope Aragones sees sense and makes Pepe his #1.

What a bloody farce of a draw. Germany have it easy as usual. That Group C is more than a group of death, its like the group of suicide. Hope Holland & Italy make it through.
Spain should win their group as they only have Greece to deal with. Sweden & Russia arent up to scratch.
Group A will see Portugal as winners and Switzerland finishing second(good team they got).

            Croatia

            Greece
            Spain

Will go through. Will be cheering for Spain this tournament. I'd like to see the Dutch do well, too bad they are once again in the group of death.

As i said a couple of weeks ago, the Uefa seeding system is ****e and that's why we have a farce of a draw. 3 of the four teams in the 'group of death' are better than basically everyone else in the tournement, barring germany.

                  I have to agree.

It's an embarrassment of a draw. Apart from that, no matter what anyone says, the tournament loses something without England's involvement. No doubt we didn't deserve to qualify but a European Championship without us seems a little strange.

I'll be cheering on Spain all the way.

I'd rather spain went out in round 1 so our players only take part for a week and then go home to rest.

It is of course a poorer and much less interesting tournament without England. I will miss seeing the likes of Gerrard, Crouch etc and other top talent at the tournament when we have to put up with the likes of Romania, Poland and Turkey (no disrespect, with the exception of Turkey ).

But one thing I will not miss is the mass hysteria, St George flag-waving and delusion that England have the best players and will run away with the tournament that always accompanies England at major tournamnets :whatever:
