I had a great season last season I'll have you know - scored 12 in 19 games.
Got about 6 or 7 assists too!

He played mainly in his homeland, but he did play for Real Madrid 180 times and scored 156 goals for them, which is, again, absolutely awesome

Won 3 European cups as well

      Absolute legend in my book!

...and did it all while having the same physique as Jan Molby.
Would love to have seen that Hungarian team play in their prime.

Puskas was my grandfathers favourite player back in Madrid. He said he could do anything with the ball. Di Stefano and Puskas were amazing

Excuse my youth and unwillingness to name players I haven't seen play:
1/ Barnes - always used to pretend to be him in the playground and he was great as well which helps
                    2/ Carragher
                    3/ Fowler
                    4/ Zidane
                    5/ Dalgleish
                    6/ Marradonna
                    7/ Alonso
                    8/ Batistuta
                    9/ Totti
10/ Kitson - I saw his league debut for Cambridge United and said he would play at a much higher level as he had great feet and awareness. He gets on the list largely for proving me right

                    Bubbling under:
11/ Trevor Benjamin - Was great for the mighty Cambridge United for a while. A lot of fun memories and I always wanted him to make it, shame he wasn't really up to it.

I shudder to even mention his name but in '77 football viewing
options were limited in the US. Georgio Chinaglia, strictly for his play with his back to the goal. The only good football we could watch back then was the Bundesliga (under the title "Soccer Made in Germany") and remember all of the buzz about Keegan joining Hamburg. So Keegan and Chinaglia on my non-LFC list. (Never saw Keegan play for LFC).

                                1) Maradona
                                2) Messi
                                3) Zidane
                                4) Gerrard
                                5) Romario
                                6) Ronaldo
                                7) Kaka
                                8) Ronaldinho
                                9) Mascherano
                                10) Schmeichel
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
