I think if he's talking about English goalkeepers and not goalkeepers playing in England, then he may be onto something with that one. James' stats in terms of clean sheets and shots-to-saves ratio is excellent this season.

That being said, I think that caller from "You're On Sky Sports" got it nail on the head when he described Merson as a "degenerate crackhead".
