I think we are seeing some shape there already, now the bottom three are Sunderland, Wigan and Derby with Sunderland level with Fulham. I reckon Wigan and Derby will go down and Sunderland and Fulham are the contenders IMO for the third spot down, Sunderland will probably buy in january, don't see any major changes though for any of these teams. Am I missing someone, Tottenham are only two points off and some columnist recently was claiming they weren't too good to go down, which is unrealistic I think. Other contenders?

Well Ramos was reported as saying that Spurs first target was to avoid relegation now. I think they have to use that mentality at the minute they have the talent to be doing better but their mentality and organisation has been shocking so far and they have leaked goals at a prodigious rate. I think all teams that play them feel they have a chance and hence have a go and being as they have no defense of note and no quality defensive players in midfield they will always be vulnerable. I think they will be clear of relegation but unless they buy at least a couple of players in January I think they will miss out on Europe and possibly even finish bottom half.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostI think we are seeing some shape there already, now the bottom three are Sunderland, Wigan and Derby with Sunderland level with Fulham. Everyone from Spurs down have less points gained than games played and at this point have to be considered possibilities for the drop. I would agree with you about the favourites though.
If any of the teams below Spurs (including Derby and Wigan) can get in a consistent goalscorer in January they are likely to stay up. Thats easier said than done for teams in their position though."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
