    Atletico vs Getafe

    anyone see? Possibly the funniest and strangest match I've ever seen.

    Finished 9 a side and I think everyone left on the pitch was booked!

    Aguero sent off for 2 dives and 2 yellows for them with Abbondanzieri going mad, only to do more of less the same thing himself right after and get booked for it, the hypocritical barsteward! Then he was booked again for diving at the ball with his hands about 20 yards outside the box.

    The manager of Atletico was trying to start a fight with him from the touchline.

    The ref was crazy and spent half the match going over to the technical areas to argue with the staff.

    Everytime the ball went out of play, the atletico ballboys, fans and even players wouldn't give the ball back to Getafe

    Sitters galore missed by Getafe, Contra going in goal for them and making a few decent saves, Reyes comes off the bench only to be sent straight off again for a desperate lunge!

    Aguero's second yellow was a strange one. I actually think that booking was for handball and not diving but I'm not sure.

    He got pushed in the back when he tried to head the ball and then the ball hit his hand. He overreacted the push so it may have been for diving but as I said, I'm not sure.



    Very strange game. It could have been two or three more red cards
    Just believe and you never know what will happen.

    According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

      I must say, Getafe are a very decent outfit. Worth backing over 2.5 goals in most of their away matches (against top 10 sides), they tend to be open games.

        As I suspected, not many fans of the Spanish league on here. Not until we are in the market for a Spanish player and then you all come out of the woodwork with your he's brilliant at this, crap at that, unfounded rubbish

          i didnt see this game...but i wish i had of taped it.
