    Capello to become England manager

    taken from the BBC:

    Capello to become England manager

Italian Capello has won domestic titles in both Italy and Spain
Fabio Capello will be appointed as the next manager of England later on Thursday, BBC Sport can reveal.
BBC sports editor Mihir Bose says the 61-year-old Italian has been offered a four-year deal worth £4m a year.

Capello's appointment will be ratified by the Football Association following a board meeting at lunchtime.

Capello, who has coached AC Milan, Real Madrid, Juventus and Roma, succeeds Steve McClaren, who was sacked after England failed to reach Euro 2008.

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was the initial favourite to take over, but he ruled himself out of the running and the FA quickly turned their attentions to Capello.

The Italian expressed his interest in the job just days after McClaren's departure.

He eventually met for discussions with FA chief executive Brian Barwick and director of football Sir Trevor Brooking in London on Wednesday.

Those talks were decsribed as "extremely positive" by FA director of communications Adrian Bevington.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

The most important thing is that they remember to review the whole system beneath the senior squad. Capello is the best man to improve the main teams performance but we need to look deeper and appoint the right people at youth and administrative levels to make progress in the long run.

We also need to get a culture where people are proud to develop young players and this sort of position isnot seen as a position for failed managers. So many exceptional youth coaches such as Wigley and Roeder have left positions that suited them and maximised their talent only to make average to poor managers. It doesn't benefit teh individuals or the standard of football in the country.

They need as you say look at the whole picture.

The standard of the managers, refs, youth team set ups. There is a lot of things that they need to change.

£300 isn't that high amount for me

I don't post screenshoots from my account. It's not 100% safe to do that even if you blank out things with photoshop. If someone robs you on the net and they then finds out that you did that then you won't get your money back.

I have as I explained before already been robbed on the net once because of that.

The right choice, both for my bank account and for England.

He is top class manager and a winner.

4 Million a year and he was the cheapest out of the candidates.

He's a class manager what he wants to manage England for is beyond me, maybe he feels he can be the one to win a tourney and achieve legendary status above what he has already
