And that's the really sad thing about it. Even if this girl was raped, whoever was responsible for it would get away with it because of so many 'cry wolf' occurences over the years. I've lost count at the number of times footballers have been accused of raping someone. As I said, it's a shame because one day it will happen for real and someone will get away with it.

So once again another male has been named and shamed in a report, even though he has yet to be found guilty or innocent. And yet the woman making the allegations is afforded anonimity, even if it turns out she fabricated the story.

I have no qualms with a convicted rapist being named, but to name a man who may yet turn out to be innocent, and tarring him with this brush, is not on. And if it turns out the woman is lying, then publish her name, put her before the jury.

It appears that the woman's boyfriend called the police. Sadly it looks like this could be a made up story along the lines of She got found out by her boyfriend and to save herself she goes off and accuses the young lad in question of rape.

I'm very uncomfortable with this as if he has raped her - throw the book at him and throw away the key, but if this is another Bimbo who has shagged a footballer, got caught and is lying her way out of it, she should get done and have her name splashed everywhere in the press just ike the young lad has had his name spread all over the papers.
