    Fulham sack Sanchez...

Fulham have sacked manager Lawrie Sanchez with immediate effect.

The club are languishing in the relegation zone of the Premier League, winning only four matches out of 24 games under Sanchez and lost 12.

"Losing Premiership status is a proposition that simply can not be contemplated," said a club statement.

Sanchez's departure comes just a day after former Fulham midfielder John Collins's sudden resignation as Hibernian manager.

The ex-Scotland midfielder's exit sparked a flurry of rumours that he may return to Craven Cottage.

I guess Coleman wasn't as bad a manager as they thought then eh?

Serves them right; sacking him and then giving loads of money to Sanchez when they should have backed their own manager.

John Collins is a shoe in.

Collins left Hibs yesterday not because he'd been tapped up by Fulham but because he and the board had a disagreement over spending money.

Fulham sacked Sanchez because a) he's **** b) Collins is avaliable.

                    It's pretty obvious to me.

                        serves fulham right

Coleman did a good job with no money.

then they give lots of money to Sanchez

You would have thought when they asked him at interview "what would you spend transfer funds on, should we make them available?" and he replied "Well, I would like to buy the entire Northern Ireland squad and Camara for £7 million". That Fulham would have worked out he didn't really have all his marbles.

I hope Colemans laughing in his sangria and paella.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

He'll get a nice fat pay-off so the timing isn't a concern to me. Personally this may be a little harsh as Fulham are no worse than a bunch of other teams this season, I mean they are arguably only in this league because we went soft on em and Sanchez has at least got them some points and, with a bit of luck, they could have had more.

Collins will be interesting if they get him in. He did a tidy job at Hibs but it wasn't all sweetness and flowers, there was quite a serious player revolt not long after they won the League Cup.
