        Great match, really enjoyed it.

        If we can keep Petrov quiet i think we'll sneak a win against them, i really didn't think he was that good, ****ing dynamite tonight anyway, alot quicker than i imagined as well.
        Will be a tough game for us on sun, no doubt about that.

          did anyone see elano's effort on goal shortly after he came on, the man can produce magic in an instance almost garcia like, we have to watch out for him...

            Mascha has handled better Brazilians. But the only way to avoid a moment of brilliance from Elano or Petrov will be to keep City in their half for most of the game.

            Playing Gerrard or Babel on the right should help - as long as those two hug the touchline. Ironically, Pennant would have been ideal to nullify Petrov's threat.

              Elano and Petrov by far will be the attacking threats however watching the match again, I seen Corluka gave a brilliant performance in midfield. His passing, movement, strength. Very under-rated IMO. We will need to get tight to him, he keeps the flow of the game going.

              The Man City defence looks weak in set pieces. The sort of game for Crouch to have reveled in. Hobbs will probably be the biggest threat against them, we need to make sure we hit the ball in the right areas (FRONT POST)
