Thanjk you.

Eduardo was hardly scouted. Any manager worth his salts watches International football and would know of his abilities.
But wouldn't they have to send scouts to check him out in the flesh?.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I think the point is that Eduardo was hardly a hidden diamond.
Well, to be honest, I had never heard of hm before recently.

He's ****ing ruthless in front of goal, you don't see him stuck out wide working the channels or playing as an extra midfielder, you just see him in and around the box and then suddenly he comes alive. I love strikers like that, bloody love em. Not many of them about nowadays.

In fairness, my judgement could be a little premature as I've only seen him around 5 full(ish) matches but you can just tell with some players. You can see that he has the touch, composure and finishing ability to be a superstar.
His performance against the bitters proved this. Never really touched the ball in side their box apart from the two chances he finished with finesse.
Looks to be a class act, but still has to really prove it, providing he is used a bit more by wenger. This again underlines our problems. arsenal have adebayor, van persie, fabregas, hleb etc who score goals, then players such as eduardo come off the bench and still score. What is our goal threat after Torres and Gerrard. None I am afraid to say, Hence, If gerrard and torres have a bad day. So do liverpool.
The lad seems a great finisher but i have my doubts as to whether his all round game is up to scratch. He doesnt offer as much as Adebayor, for example, in all round game play etc.
If he was that great then he'd be playing week in, week out. Francis Jeffers was a tidy finisher and a fox in the box and look where he is now....err Stockport or summat.

Disagree strongly, he's a striker, his job is to score goals, more likely to score goals in and around the box hence why he situates himself there most of the game. Early days but he's looks like a leathal striker already.

I think the assumption that because he hasn't played regularly yet he won't is flawed. I think Arsene has given him time to adapt to the league and is now beginning to give him a chance. We shall see how highly he is rated by Wenger in the rest of the season.
He gives them a very different option and seems capable of scoring goals. the sort of option we sorely lack unfortunately.

. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
