Such an improvement in him, dont you think?

Can't say I watch a lot of Citeh matches so I don't know. He had a good game today though.

I've always thought he was definitely in the top 10 defenders in the prem. What a job he did on Torres today. He's been a colossus for them for years.

He has been Ireland's best player in the past year and is one of the best centre backs in the league.

He's strong, reads the game well and is deceptively quick.

        A cracking player.

He is a monster. He drinks in my local football club bar when he's over here and I've stood next to him on many occasions. Now I'm over 6" and bordering 14st and this guy is a monster next to me!

            Sound lad too.

2 things that surprised me today, how quick Dunne was, and how much of a complete **** Richard Keys was in the post match interview. Not that the latter should have surprised me.

He's not known for his speed though and I've seen him roasted in international matches for pace. I wonder is he developing into the Paul McGrath type player where Paul was the mythical yard ahead "in his head" - in other words great at reading the play and anticipating the next move.

Either way he had a fab game today.

You must've missed the game today?

You'd imagine him to be very slow with a build like his, but I remember him outpacing Mark Gonzalez for Ireland v Chile a couple of years ago and it amazed me.

I went today and he kept up with Torres all day. I felt Torres was carrying a couple of knocks throughout as he got clattered a few times, but still....Dunne matched him for pace. A huge unit, but extremely quick.

                            True, he's deceptively fast.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

Dunne and Carra are the same type of defenders. They are not the best technically but they compensate that with a lot of heart.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
