I'd hoped to have been able to avoid this scenario, the one that comes around EVERY SINGLE ****ING SEASON, but I'm back to being a sort of Arsenal fan, and to an extent Chelsea too. I will be willing them to win their games, while willing United to lose theirs.

It hurts to say it, but it's true. We are now officially out of the title race, and I hope anyone but United wins it.

I too want Arsenal to win the title if it is not to be us.

They regularly play the sort of football that we maybe get once a season under Rafa and Wenger is proof that you don't need 5 seasons and hundreds of millions to win the title.

I only hope that when Rafa goes we find a manager who, like Wenger, comes from relatively nowhere and brings with him a revolution that truly turns us into contenders.

Yep. We're out of it again it would seem. TBH I don't care who wins it. I want it to be us but unless there's a huge turn around in our fortunes I think we could be a couple of years away from a serious challenge.

So earth-shatteringly depressing.

Every year we seem to have the same problems. Same old same ****ing old, every time.

Not enough quality in wide areas.

Short on top quality up front.

Unable to break down teams who park the bus.

We used to be able to beat the "big teams" but **** up against the relegation fodder.

Now we can't beat any of 'em.
