    My point was that Larsson is a hero to Celtic fans and it is patronising to discount that IMO. His long term loyalty to them is what makes him a worthy exemplar in the eyes of others who value that trait. You essentially endorse the view that everything is about the big leagues and all players should follow the money.

    In the specific area when you talk about Larrsson in addition to long term loyalty to a single club he in the end managed to prove himself on a bigger stage. So people have every right to praise him highly and choose their own heroes.

            He is one of the true greats of football. I would be happy if he went as I would like to see the reaction of the fans, I would think it would be like God returning to us. I don't think he'll be that great when he goes back which will be a shame.
            I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

              Apparently his wife was staying in the Hilton in Glasgow for a few days and thats were the rumours started.

              He is a legend and true great a special player and person and the perfect role model for any young boy wanted to play football.

              Very honourable top player


              ........but i doubt it will happen as his side in Sweden is still in the UEFA Cup
