    Benzema to Real?

Real Madrid bid £25M for Lyon striker Benzema
    tribalfooball.com - January 09, 2008

Real Madrid are in negotiations with Olympique Lyon for star striker Karim Benzema.

DiarioSport says Real see the 20 year-old France international as a priority target and French sources state a bid of £25 million has already been tabled.

Madrid insiders refuse to confirm the offer has been tabled, but it's understood a formal approach has already been made to Lyon to register their interest.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Benzema has AC Milan dream: Ronaldo my idol
    tribalfootball.com - January 09, 2008

Olympique Lyon star Karim Benzema has made a 'come and get me' plea to AC Milan.

The 20 year-old France striker is emerging as the hottest property in the transfer market for 2008 and told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I will only leave Lyon once I feel in the right frame of mind and ready for the move.

"For me, the Rossoneri are my dream club. Ronaldo has always been my idol.

"I like Milan, though I must admit I do support Real Madrid."

I think AC MILAN were linked with a £25million bid last week, found the report:

AC Milan have opened negotiations with Olympique Lyon for star striker Karim Benzema.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan have begun talks with Lyon about a fee for the France international with the view to an end-of-season deal.

Milan chiefs Ariedo Braida and Adriano Galliani have already been made aware that £25 million is unlikely to be enough to secure Benzema's signature.

Real do have a lot of strikers but Van HorseFace and Raul are getting on a bit, whilst Cassano seems to be a bit too lightweight.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has agreed a new contract with Real Madrid.

The Dutchman had 18 months left on his current deal - but he has now penned fresh terms.

The 31-year-old joined Real from Manchester United in the summer of 2006 and has bagged 34 goals since arriving in the Spanish capital.

Van Nistelrooy helped Real to La Liga glory in his first year and he has now agreed a one-year extension.
