OK, now he wouldn't be my first choice or anything (or even top 20 at that) but I'm just wondering where all the animosity is coming from. Most people on this forum seem to think he's absolute dog**** but didn't he do pretty well for Ze Germans? He plays a nice style of footy too.

What's the story? Why are people generally so OTT towards him?

Because getting Germany to a World Cup semi in Germany is no great achievement. Far from it. They should've won it or at the very least got to the final because they were AT HOME.

South Korea reached the semis when it was held in their backyard. Most other home nations win it.

Before the World Cup, when all their games weren't played at home, they were absolutely ****.

He may well become a good club manager but at this moment in time he isn't one, and we should never, ever even have been linked with the bloke.

Didn't he manage an American club? If Bayern want him, he must have some credentials. I think he will make a good manager actually. Not for us though, no thanking you

personally I have nothing against Klinsmann, I actually quite like the bloke and think he will do pretty well in whatever he decides to do, he is smart and I like his football philosophy.
BUT........do i want him to replace Rafa? DO I ****!

It would have been a ridiculous decision based on non football reasons and the guy, at present, doesnt have the know how to make us a success.

More than that its the way in which the americans, yet again, have carried on in such a classless manner.
