    It was inevitable...

Some Scum fan who is trying to plead to the Citeh fans to respect the minutes silence (Munich) in the derby on Feb 4th (I think, its the same day as the Chelsea game)

He said that of course there is hatred between the sides and clubs should respect tragedies but clubs have the tendency to take the mickey out of other clubs to which lead to his point that Liverpool fans take the mickey out of Leeds fans about what happened in Turkey.

    Which raises a few things:
    1. What happened in Turkey and does anyone sing or chant anything to Leeds?
    2. I can't wait to see the Citeh response. I don't think they are the classiest of fans according to a few on here.

I can't believe that the fixtures computer brought that game out on the 50th anniversary of Munich.

I heard that City wanted it changed to a minutes applause to avoid any sort of noise during the silence.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Two Leeds fans were killed when they played over in Galatasaray in 2000, and I've never heard any fans, from Liverpool or any other team, take the piss.

Munich anniversary is on the 6th, which is when England play a friendly. There's not going to be a minute's silence before it for fear of ****s ruining it. Sad really.
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

Leeds played Galatasaray away about six years ago (?) and two fans were stabbed and subsequently died. I've never heard of any chants regarding this at LFC games - this is blatantly a bit of mudslinging to create a common enemy with the Citeh fans.

The years of "murderers" chanting is finally going to come back and haunt them. I hope they go with the silence.

I'm sure the Leeds stuff is a load of bollocks.

I know a few hardcore Leeds fans and the rivalry we have is nothing compared to Leeds-Utd. If anything they respect us because (I think, this was before my time) they won the title at Anfield and we clapped them off the pitch. Something like that.

I remember hearing about this yeah. It was all silent and then this young boy shouted "clap for the champions" or something like that and everyone clapped.

            Great story
