    fight...fight...fight

The Football Association is to investigate the clash between Arsenal pair Emmanuel Adebayor and Nicklas Bendtner in the match at Tottenham.
With seven minutes left of Arsenal's 5-1 Carling Cup defeat, the pair squared up to each and Bendtner appeared to suffer a cut nose.

William Gallas and referee Howard Webb intervened, but the match official did not see the entire incident.

....anyone got a youtube clip of him getting decked by Ade???
    Cheers

There was no decking, it was a bit of pushing and shoving, not sure how his nose got cut.

Fair play to Gallas for splitting it all up though.

This kind of thing annoys me. It's an internal thing, the FA should keep their noses out.

100% agree with you. It was the same with Bowyer & Dyer. Why did the POLICE have to get involved in that one. There is fighting in a hell of a lot of sunday league games and the police very really get called there.

It should be left to the club to take a decision on any disciplinary action.

Any excuse to issue a fine and fill their coffers. And in another masterstroke by the people at Soho Square they've denied one of the Havant lads a chance to play at Anfield, like it's really going to make a difference in the end.

You'd think they'd be doing what they could to preserve the magic of the FA Cup or at least canvassed the opinion of LFC before making the decision.

What I find hilarious is how that cheap-skate Wenger once again comes out with the belter:

"I did not know anything about it. I didn't see it."

So did I. Would have loved Dyer to have really got Bowyer though.

Adebayor headbutted Bendtner hence the nose cut.
