    Things get worse for City

Getting ****ed by Sheff Utd and while they are out on the pitch someone does a dusty with all their ****.

Thieves add to Man City's misery

Manchester City's woes were not restricted to the pitch
Thieves added insult to injury by stealing from Manchester City players as they were knocked out of the FA Cup.
Money totalling between £1,500 and £2,000 was taken from wallets in their dressing room at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane ground.

This was as Premier League club City lost 2-1 at the hands of Championship team Sheffield United.

A United spokesman said a theft had taken place during the course of the afternoon and police are investigating.

South Yorkshire Police, Sheffield United and Manchester City are working together to investigate the matter.

"A number of staff and players have had a quantity of cash stolen," City spokesman Paul Tyrrell confirmed.

"I am not aware that the dressing room was locked and the police are looking in it."

He would not say which players had been affected.

Security around footballers in stadiums and in there own home is ****ing shocking nowadays.
"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Serves em right for taking that much cash into an away game dressing room ffs.

What were they planning to do?

Slip the ref a brown envelope.

Why do players need to take a load of cash to a game?

What players arent allowed to bring their wallet to a game anymore now?

How dare they bring their wallet to a game "serves em right" doesnt it.

NO ONE deserves to get robbed. Those dressing rooms are meant to be locked during a game, that even goes for pub football.

Are you telling me if you had your wallett knicked for your sunday league team, having left it in dressing room that was meant to be locked it would have served you right?

All clubs should hire a bag person.
His/her job would be have a bag that all players put their vallet/clocks in, and he/she keeps it for the game.
This should be a well payed, full time job. I volunteer to be the bag person at Anfield to try it out.

2000 quid divided between probably 20 people isn't that much, and they were about to go celebrating after the game.

Exactly, it's £100 per person. I'm sure there are people on here that carry that sort of cash round with them.
