It does seem like a hell of a lot of a money for a player who has had one good season.

He has been playing for Rangers for a few seasons now. I get the feeling his current form is just a hot streak rather than any lasting class. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on at Spurs.

Previous 'big' players coming from SPL to Premiership like Petrov or Barry Ferguson have been total flops.

I'm no Rangers fan, but i reckon Hutton is a very good player. Not 10m though, but i think the fee is actually closer to 8m which for a RB is excellent business for Rangers.

Like i've said before, it depends on when you view him. A few years ago i didn't reckon he'd ever cut it, but he's come on leaps and bounds. Quite an unbelievable improvement.

If he cuts out the rash tackles and improves his concentration he could be one of the best attacking RBs around.

Thing is though, there's a gulf between the SPL and the EPL and he's in for a rough ride.
