    Good luck to him indeed.
Good news for us too - he gets more managerial experience, and we can see if he's any good.

Good place for him to cut his teeth before he takes over here.

Hope GaryMac does nearly well enough to get them promoted. Nearly. Then moves on to a proper team to gain experience for when hes Carras No.2.

Sammy Lee according to the BBC gossip column will be named as his No2.

Much better team then Wise and Poyet.
            We come not to play.

If that comes to pass, I will certainly start keeping an eye on their results...

I was hoping to see someone like Gary Mac or Sammy Lee come in as Rafa's number 2

I would prefer Gery Mac to get some more coaching/managing experience to be honest. one day he could make a good manager for us.

I don't think Leeds have made any statement re:Lee so we can still hope he will be back as an assistant.

I see your point about Gary Mac getting experience, but I think we are missing a No2 at the moment Gary Mac even as a short term appointment would have been someone with recent Premiership experience and knows the club, which IMO would have been great for the job!

I think a short term appointment would be a bad idea. We need to create stability and an air of short termish would be bad for that. I agree with your basic point though and I think Sammy Lee may still be in the frame for the job and I hope he would be.

A more personable link between Rafa and the players seems to be missing at the minute.

By short term I meant at least a couple of years not just until summer (should have made that a bit clearer) I had always expected Gary Mac to go into management so having I wouldn't have expected him to have hung around indefinately.

To be honest I would have thought if Sammy Lee were to come back, it would have happened by now
