Arsenal have a target man. We don't because Crouch is frequently on the bench, Arsenal hit Adebayor a lot and build around him.

Plus Arsenal have great pace in wide areas. Our full-backs are solid and Finnan is a good crosser, but none of them have the same kind of pace.

Simply magnificent- Arsenal great build up on the left as Hleb and Fabregas break on the counter against a very adventurous attack from City and bish, bash, bosh, Adebayor scores his second and has killed off the game. 3-1. Arsenal go top

Elano is suspended for the Scumchester derby after a foul on Adebayor on the half way line in the build for the goal.

Go on the Gunners. Top of the league. Hopefully stay that way all season.

EH? Arsenal play a short passing style, they rarely if ever launch it to adebayor...

They do both. If they find it difficult at times, they start to pump high deep crosses for Adebayor like the second goal today.

Against Everton, they played long balls and scored 3 out of their 4 goals in that manner.

Baros & Defoe start up front for Portsmouth.

**** me, potentially the most head-down, always-offside, and greedy partnership in the history of football.

That game was a one off, you rarely see Arsenal hitting the ball above head height.. He WILL hold it up when it;'s pinged in, but they don't play to actually targett his strength of his

It's a partnership that would wipe most of our striking combos off the planet! Goals goals goals

Probably more goals than Kuyt and Voronin playing up front
