    Keegan

Anyone on here like him? His playing days for LFC were before my time so I don't really have an empathy for the guy.

That said he comes across to me as arrogant and a tactically inept clueless blagger. Doesnt seem all that popular with the players, only the delusional geordies.

My money is on him taking them down, if not this season, then next.

I don't see him lasting the season at Newcastle. He has the look of a haunted man.

I quite like him, he is totally honest and shows passion( I'd love it sppech) which is something most managers lack these days.

I remember him playing and he was great. When we sold him I thought we could never replace him. OK I was wrong but it shows how good I thought he was.

Having said that, he comes across these days as a bit of a tosser IMO. I can't take him seriously at all.

          I expect he'll be devastated.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

He does, doesn't he. I thought maybe I was imagining things.

He does look sick actualy. Not good for him health wise that job but he's only there for a couple of years until Shearer takes over

and by the by, when he does, Keegan will have them in good shape, there's no doubt about it. Shrewd in the transfer window. It wil be a nasty ground to go to.

Not sure I agree mate. I think Keegan's return will be the biggest let down in Geordie history, and that's saying something FFS.

He will ruin the legacy he would've left behind had he not returned. He was always on a hiding to nothing. Crazy appointment and a crazy decision by KK to go back.

Kevin Keegan, Dennis Wise and supporters who turn on you at the first sign of trouble. What could possibly go wrong?

The man has become a joke. A parody of himself, if you like.

I'm too young to remember him play for us, but he's a legend.

I liked him as a manager of Newcastle the first time as they played attractive football and he was entertaining, but I said he should never have gone back, there's no way he could ever get close to doing what he did the first time he was there. To be honest I thought he was done in football and it was a foolish appointment by Newcastle.

He might get away with things this season as the Geordies love him and he has the excuse that it isn't his squad, but I'd be very suprised if he's still there after the end of next season
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I Loved watching him play - awesome. However i don't think he's cut out to be a manager, especially at that place where the fans are a ****ing disgrace. Can't see hime lasting beyond the end of the season, although I hope i'm wrong as he was a former Kop hero.

I wonder how he justified it to himself when he was making the decision to go back? It's an utter madhouse over there and we all know that Kev doesn't cope with the pressure of management well at all.

I remember him as being a good player but nothing special to be honest.

As a manager i think he's a joke, totally out of his depth and a blagger, as someone else has mentioned in the thread. An organised side will always beat one of Keegans as there is no Plan B if attack attack attack doesnt get him anywhere.

Should never have gone back to Newcastle and i can see it all ending in tears, quite possibly at the end of the season.
