The Scum have made some humorous exits in the past but this is up there with the best of them...

i remember watching that match in awe of how cool and clinical he was. it was quite a departure from watching liverpool play at old toilet- we're so tight and nervous there the occasion seems to overwhelm our players. it was refreshing to see a player tear the place down with such ease

Quality player but in my opinion he is going to be remembered for never being fit.
Shame for the lad but he hasnt been at the races for a long ****ing time. Very long time.

Hope he recovers well but hangs up his boots.

Ronaldo was absolute dynamite back in the day, a wonderfully gifted footballer.
A pleasure to watch in his prime.
Shame about all the injuries but we'll always have the memories. He was on a different planet to every other player at one stage.
            Class apart.

Gutted when i heard this. A true great in my eyes who always did it on the big stage not like some of the overhyped players today that have yet to do it when it really matters. Ability wise he was always lightyears ahead of any other player about...anyone that ever played with him remarked on his talent. I would agree with the comment that he played too much too young and like owen and fowler his body just started to break down..a terrible shame. However i will always remember him tearing Rio Ferdinand a new arse at old trafford that night. A phenomenal display by a player at the height of his powers!
