    Lippi fancies Premiership move

    Lippi fancies Premiership move
    tribalfooball.com - February 18, 2008

World Cup winning coach Marcelo Lippi has revealed his desire to come and coach in England as well as his plans to learn the English language.

The former Juventus coach has been linked with a number of jobs in England in the past including The Three Lions job, the Ireland job and a few others in and around the Premier League.

Lippi is one of the most successful coaches in world football and he has won major honours at both club and international level.

He has now expressed his intentions to turn his hand to the English game.

"Speaking English is one of my biggest desires," Lippi told Goal.it

"I want to learn how to speak English and therefore this could push me towards accepting a job on the continent.

"I always tell my friend Sir Alex Ferguson that he is lucky that the whole world understands him when he talks.

"Capello at England, Trapattoni at Ireland, they are flying the flag for our reputation and I must admit I am interested as well."
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

All these guys are interested now because they know they can earn the big bucks in the Premier league. They know they can get £3m-£4m per season

Uhm, what about english lessons? Coaching an english team just to learn the language doesn't really sound 100% convincing

Probably because he said that he is a friend to Fergie

Would be an excellent replacement if Rafa left/was sacked.

Lippi is Father Ted to Fergies Father Jack.
