      Arsenal 0-0 AC Milan

Arsenal will feel they should have won this match after Adebayor hit the bar in the dying seconds of the game. They had produced many shots at the AC Milan goal but failed to actually test an injured Kalac.

The game became more lively in the second half after Arsenal decided to expand and play their more natural game however a stubborn and intelligent Milan side weren't going to crumble under the pressure. Milan failed to create anything clear cut throughout the 90 minutes and it was clear their ambition was to take this game to the Giuseppe Meazza.

Milan and an under pressure Ancellotti will be pleased with the rearguard performance and will feel that they can progress through to the next round of the Champions League in fortnights time. Arsenal have it all to do but a scoring draw will suffice.

On a brighter note, that cheating cunt Eboue was booked for diving. He got what he deserved.

I wonder what odds you could have got on us being the only British side to win this week.
That rug really tied the room together.

What about Adebayor's open goal miss from fully THREE yards?! In fact three yards is generous.

Miss of the season so far.

                Barely 2 yards

Just as bad as Darchville's miss against Lyon at Ibrox

Yep, on a sixpence. How on earth did he miss? He didn't need to jump or stretch for it. All he needed to do was aim it down. Could be a massive part in this tie.

I had abet on arsenal ' 6/5 and all

That would have made it 5/5 tonight

Actually there was an even worse miss by lisandro lopez last night which incidentally cost me another win @ 10/11

Surely not?!?! What did he do? Scoop it over the bar from off the line or something?

About the same distance out and it came in about 2 feet off the ground. he was pretty much in the middle of the goal and he somehow managed to shin it up up and away!

                          He's ****ing good too

Never mind, I had a 4/1 on MK dons come in yesterday, nice week so far and expect it to get better tomorrow in the UEFA

Both Tevez's goal and Adebayor's miss came from a quality of cross the likes of which us LFC fans can only ****ing dream of. Did this cross anyone else's mind this evening?
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

No, but we did beat inter-milan 2-0 the other night.
