If you like Collymore or not that is pretty low from Mike Parry

Absolutely no need for that, even if he feels that way why choose now to say it?

Trying to drum up some attention for himself, he is involved with that cunt McKenzie in his new media project

He mindlessly parrots the latest tabloid opinion. Redknapp doesnt even agree with himself half the time FFS.

Also he gets stuff majorly wrong repeatedly- like the time when announced with great certainty how great Alonso had been the season before at Scum & how he made all the difference, when Xabi didnt play.
        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I have never heard of Mike Parry.

Might set up a twitter account just to tweet to him. 'Who are you? I have never heard of you.'
            Oh I don't know.

What a prick he is, Danny 'fat face' Kelly! ****!

Then again, Collymore gets on my tits too, shouting out his opinion all the fcukin time, ramming it down peoples throats, and if you disagree...he just shouts louder!

Mike Parry is just an old fool.

Currently on TalkSport's My Sporting Life.

Nothing groundbreaking so far but he's only been on for 30 minutes.

He's talking Forest at the moment and I'm guessing LFC will be on in about ten minutes time; might be of interest to some of you.

Thanks for showing us all what a cock you are. I write about Apple products because I enjoy using them and I like to rebuff most people's baseless negative comments.

Moaning about the Conservative Party I understand as there's **** all you can do about them right now but you don't have to have anything to do with Apple. It's a purchasing decision that is made by you alone.

Football is equally as frustrating as politics as you can decide to not purchase anything to do with football but it won't stop it turning into a ****ing circus run by ******s and played by people that earn as much as the 1% (yet we don't turn on them?!).

So please kindly go **** yourself and don't hold me up as a corporate shill.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Good programme. I think Stan is refreshingly honest. About 15 minutes talking about his time at the Reds. Had an axe to grind against Digger, said he had more influence on the team selection than Roy Evans. Basically, spice boys liked a night out. Jamo was responsible for those cup final suits and his career highlight was that goal against the barcodes.

I think our friend below has just answered that mate.

Sums it up. It was broken down into sections in chronological order and LFC probably got the biggest section (about 10-15 minutes in total). I'm not sure he had an axe to grind on Barnes as such, but he did say that he had a big influence on the dressing room along with James; I read it more as a slant towards Evans for not being a strong enough manager as he mentioned something like wanting to work under O'Neill but Frank Clarke was good to him too.

He mentioned the signing and how it happened. United approached him first but then signed Andy Cole, he had talks with Everton but then decided to join us whilst Evans was in Barbados or something. Collymore said how he refused to move from Cannock to Liverpool as it was only a 1hr 15m drive and he wanted to stay close to home and his mother. Explained about how he refused to play in the reserves for us as he was scoring for the first team and was fit. Doug Livermoore reported it to Evans and that was Collymore pretty much done at LFC.

He also spent 15 minutes or so at the end talking about the Ulrika incident.

Seemed to be a bloke full of regrets. I know a lot of people don't like him but I've no real issue with him. Quality player.

                            Cheers Lee,

Think he is an engaging bloke, obviously a bit of a 'mare to work with both as a footballer and latterly, if you give any credence to what Mike Parry said recently. But obviously, has his demons, but does seem to care about football and given the often bland Lineker/Shearer BBC love-in, that used to have to suffice for football comment, hearing someone who will occasionally make a ricket, given his forthright views is a welcome change.

Plus, and I might be in the minority, I always liked him when he played for us with those ridiculous collars!

Oh yeah, and like somebody said earlier in the thread if he doesn't agree with you then he'll quite often just shout louder.

However even if you don't agree with him and he's talking bollocks he does at least back up his opinion in a passionate way, rather than wind people up such as the likes of Durham, Merson and other pundits. I'm split on his thoughts - sometimes I completely disagree with him and other times he has it completely spot on.

That kit wasn't too bad with the collar. The away one was nicer though with the three buttons.
