I'm sure some gooners will put it donw to some bizarre show of passion, I think it was madness and petulant.

The important thing for the Gunners is how well their players react to this. Gallas is by all accounts a real leader in the group and the next match after the losses in the cups and now the trauma of the Brum match they really need him to stand up and be counted.
