Helder Postiga also cost spurs about £6 million and didn't do anything apart from score against England in Euro 2004.
    Postiga also scored against us!
    think Guivarch could be added to that list along with carisaraghi/

    alos Bosnich flopped badly despite being a free (twice) and picking up massive wages.

        Are we counting Collymore as a flop?
        "Through me the way into the suffering city,
        Through me the way to the eternal pain,
        Through me the way that runs among the lost.
        Justice urged on my high artificer;
        My maker was divine authority,
        The highest wisdom, and the primal love.
        Before me nothing but eternal things were made,
        And I endure eternally.
        Abandon every hope, ye who enter here."

        And like that… he's gone

            He was a big flop at Villa so I guess you could.

            Frannie Jeffers, Stefan Guiv'arch and Kevin Davies (Blackburn) all spring to mind.
            A humble guy with healthy desire.

                Grabbi
                Facundo Sava (hat-trick!)
                Kevin Lisbie (hat-trick!)
                Helder Postiga
                Forlan
                Szilard Nemeth
                Casiraghi (only goal for Chelsea)
                Michael Proctor

                There are tons more. Happens all the time.
                Nemeth was a decent enough player though.

                    Duff and Crespo weren't flops.

                    Duff did very well in his first two seasons at Chelsea. He was their best player in Ranieri's last season and he and Robben were excellent when Maureen won his first title.

                    Crespo didn't get much of a chance at Chelsea but when he did play he had a very good scoring ratio. He didn't get much of a chance to shine but he is no flop.

                          10 mill for Richard Wright?

                          Ok may have been a bit harsh about Duff being a complete flop but when Chelski saw the chance to get rid of him they bit Newcastles hands off.
                          As for Cerespo, I dont think he really set Chelski or the league on fire.

                            Bit harsh on Casiraghi. His leg fell off after somthing like 5 games for the Chavs and he was forced to retire;
