The scums and the arse are through to the quarters, say the chavs and us also make it to the qaurters there is a high possibility that two english teams will line up against each other.

I was just wondering that myself.

Just checked and the draw is on the 14th, and will set out the path for the final.

I have a horrible feeling utd will do the treble.

Long way to go but until they get knocked out of something and soon I sit uneasy.

              Bye, bye Ancelotti.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

And Maldini. That was his last Champions League game.

The draw is going to be sickening. I'd take Sevilla or Fenerbahce NOW.

Provided we do the business, of course...

                    Schalke/Porto?

There will be an all-English tie, I'm sure of it.

There's bound to be. Just praying it's not us. I couldn't handle it.

AC Milan 0-2 Arsenal FT (0-2 agg) FT Report

This was a fantastic performance from an Arsenal side who were doubted by many in the English press.

Arsenal had a shaky start with a couple of Milan corners threatening what seemed a fragile defence however they rode the storm and started control the game and play their more natural game with short, swift passing around the pitch and penned a very disappointing Milan side. Arsenal grew in confidence and had a great chance with Fabregas who hit the crossbar.

Arsenal left off where they started and created some excellent chances, one of which fell to Eboue who sliced well wide from eight yards. It was evident that an ageing Milan were tiring and Arsenal benefited from the huge spaces as Fabregas drove on and took a speculative shot from 30 yards which ended up in the back of Kalac's net who seemed really bemused and angry at his defences lack of pressing. Arsenal got their second as Milan pushed on to get a goal and it was the very young and speedy Walcott who sidestepped Kaladze and played an accurate and easy square ball across the box for Adebayor to tap in, in front of a very shocked San Siro.

This, by far, was as good as an Arsenal European performance I have seen in a long long time possibly going back to the 5-1 thrashing against Inter in this very stadium. Milan were very poor and it still bemuses me, how did they beat us in the final?

The more I see of Milan, the more depressed I get about Athens. we should have nailed them, they are a very poor side, and were poor on the night.

                            Same here. It's depressing.

It was obviously their last hurrah, although their true last hurrah came when they tore United apart in the semi-final 2nd leg.

                              Ancelotti is useless.

Sevilla and their plucky Turkish opponents go to penalties.
