Final Whistle Report
PSV provided a fantastic performance against a very sloppy Spurs side who still look hungover from the Carling Cup final. The first chance was the Farfan goal who capitalised on sloppiness from Gilberto who failed to clear his lines. In the second half, Spurs created chances but not enough to scare a very organised PSV side who outwitted a very perplexed Ramos. Farfan clearly the dangerman, had threatened from a very open left side but failed to finish and double the lead.
This Spurs side looked like the same side who played against Birmingham. It was a footballing lesson from PSV and Spurs have it all to do and need to win in Eindhoven.
Full time here at White Hart Lane. Spurs 0-1 PSV.
