The Pictures in The Sunday Mirror of Southampton players stealing from handbags was a shock. Nathan Dyer pictured rifling through a barmaid's bag while Bradley Wright Phillips kept watch on the door, WTF.

The article says they are on 8k a week ffs, What a bunch of greedy ungrateful people. Taking things like Mobile phones, £145 in cash & even student cards & ciggies from 3 bags & coats.

This annoyed me, it will annoy Wrighty more i suspect, but will he defend his lad & blame the media i wonder.They were treated like vip,s by the club/bar in question, then do this.

Just find it hard to believe actually, one on 8k a week & another on 5k, shame on them. Also what stupidity to put their immediate careers at risk.

Aye...Saw his agent had said they were very relaxed about the whole thing. With advisers like that no wonder some players turn out to be 'fan detatched' tossers. Not seeming to realise that being gifted at Football doesn't equate to them being a better person than anyone else, which unfortunately is how many come across.

I can understand some crimes committed in life, if not condone them. We all make mistakes after all. I'm sure we all understand that there are people less fortunate than ourselves who I'm sorry to say choose the wrong options in life to try and get ahead.

But when you are on 5k and 8k a week, well I don't know what to say. No excuses.
