Think he's likely to miss the rest of the season. May be back should Cardiff reach the Play-off's or the Cup Final.

Dunno what will happen to him now - I think he signed a one year deal with the option of an extention - not sure if he or Cardiff will take that up

I read today that if Cardiff get to the final then the opposition automatically qualifies for Europe as when the welsh clubs joined the English league the welsh FA allowed it only if they all agreed to the non europe part of the contract so the welsh fa keep their own places for the welsh league.
