We needed that. They have run off an impressive sequence of results. At the back of my mind I'm wondering if it might by a bad thing, omen-wise. After Wales winning the grand slam, if Everton could beat us to 4th place that would be another of the 2005 pieces in place.

He looked quite good to me. Nothing amazing, but strong on the ball, decent in the air and bags of pace.

Lack of composure when it comes to doing what he's paid to do, but some young players are like that. My guess is come the end of the season a few of you will be changing your minds.

Still with the amount of bashing Fulham got at the start it's not suprising. Someone laughing at Mcbride on the pitch - Are you insane? The man is always top class for Fulham and has proved it again.

new country, new league, new style of play that is light years ahead of anything he's ever experienced...surely needs time to settle...but you can see the raw ability he possesses. fulham sure do like americans, maybe i should give roy hodgson a bell
