    Surely that's a load of bollocks? Didn't Villa pay us a Million to get Carson? And I'm sure United have paid close to £6Million for Tevez on loan for 2 seasons?!

      I'm sure it's based on quality.

      575k for a pile of ****e, compared to 1m (or 6m) for someone of quality.

              Is it because Carson is there for a whole season though whereas they've got Ameobi for less than half so per game he's costing them more?

                Celtic paid something like £3.5m for Bellamy, even then i dont think it was for a full season! But bloody hell he was like Maradona up here haha
