    Fight watch

It's now only a matter of hours before the fighting and stabbing in Rome commences!

What I didn't know was that it kicked right off again in Rome last time, when Real Madrid went there in the last round.

It is a cast-iron certainty that it'll go off again tonight.

Can you believe the 2009 CL final is scheduled to be held in Rome?!? UEFA really do make the most mind-bogglingly dense decisions. That said, there'll be trouble again tonight and UEFA may come to their senses.

i think uefa have said if it kicks off again in rome this week then rome/roma etc can just **** right off

Hopefully nooone is injured - it's always the innocent bystander who ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time but uefa are ****ing useless - 20 years or so after heysel and countless acts of high profile hoolginsim around the continent over the last decade or so, espically in Italy - and there is still major concerns that there is going to be severe crowd trouble in a major competiton

    ****ing ******s

And the powers that be just brush it all under the carpet, if what's gone on in Italian football had been going on here these past years they would have thrown the book at us.

Yes i know we have our scum bags here, go to a match for the fight not the fantastic football, but it's happened in some of the biggest games in Italy for years now.

        Moscow.

Anyway, i hope United have a miserable time tonight, 3-0. And i hope the world sees what cocks those manc fans are.

United's football is impervious at the moment, but with pride comes a fall and i hope it comes tonight! ray:

And they turned Wembley down for tax reasons.
          Oh I don't know.

Load of nonsense. A 'misunderstanding', UEFA thought the players would be taxed, but this by all accounts hasn't happened at other events in the past.

UEFA are said to be reviewing it though.

Me neither, but their fans might.

I wouldn't be confident if I was them but I like their style of play and feel it gives them a chance. They tend to break in numbers from behind Totti, I assume they will aim for the same tactic tonight. I think against United you need to exploit wide areas and keep them from pressing up from the back.

Hopefully unlike last year they will remember how to defend.

Totti never really shows up in these games anyway, perhaps giving someone like aquilani a go is actually an advantage*

They reckon Vucinic (sp?) will come in for Totti.

No reports of trouble yet! Maybe some kind of miracle can happen...

I really expect this game to be a real open one. Roma play some fantastic football and it is a shame that Spalletti doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

Doni, Cassetti, Mexes, Panucci, Tonetto, Taddei, Pizarro, Aquilani, Mancini, De Rossi, Vucinic

Van Der Sar, Brown, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Carrick, Scholes, Anderson, Ronaldo, Park, Rooney
