It can't be, not even Keegan would consider this surely. How old, 40....39 not sure, i'm amazed to see how long he's continued as it is, never mind starting a career, although obviously short, at Bloody Newcastle.

As manager i could just about believe.

The Maldini to Newcastle story was released on 1st of April. It was a joke by goal.com or some such website and I believe the name of the writer was April Fool too

This website wrote an article about it before realising it was a joke they then added this
The following article was written prior to realizing that the Maldini rumor to Newcastle was merely an April Fools joke from the staff at Goal.com. Anyways, enjoy reading one naive Bleacher Report writer's thoughts on the fantasy move

I think every article on goal.com must be written on April Fools day.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."
