    The good old days

They used to be a well run, established and respected Premiership club, now they're on the verge of Division 1 football next season.
Where did it all go wrong for the Saints?

I've always hated Southampton. Its probably because of Le Tissier's face.

Le Tissier was a brilliant player.

I second that. And because of that gimp in the 80s called Danny Wallace - used to wind me up big time.

You don't half know what you're talking about. He didn't have pace but he was one of the best footballers of his generation, no doubt about it.

Except, when you say 'you dont half know', it's actually suggesting the person DOES know.

I actually did see Le Tissier play. I'm glad he didn't for England. The deluded cunt is still bitter about that.

They stayed up for many a year because of that ****hole ground they stayed at. It was no surprise they went down pretty much as soon as they moved.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Le Tissier was very much the luxury player but he was very good at it.

                            Also took a mean penalty.

I always hated that stupid stand at Southampton which tapered from about 30 rows to like 5; it was always on the left of the screen when the TV cameras were there.

As for Le Tiss, he was a You Tube player before You Tube was invented.
