Dunphy is a legend at times.

He said tonight Ronaldo could score 1,000 goals a season in the league and he still wouldn't be a great player.

I hope the referees all over Europe take note of the constant diving by Ronaldo

He was almost as bad as Drogba was last night.

        Still- that penalty though.

Same. I turn the telly on (or radio) at KO, turn it off at HT and go and do something (semi) productive (usually post on here ), go back for KO in the second half and turn it off at the final whistle.

In the words of Souness "it's a breath of fresh air working for RTE where they all say what they want rather than keeping it in as they don't want to offend anyone"!

                **** OFF!
He's learned from RTE! He's a regular on the panel with dunphy and Giles and what I wrote above was a comment of his only yesterday!

The press will love Man U's performance calling Fergie a tactical genius but my god, if that wasn't anti-football, I don't know what is.

looking on a utd forum, some think that it was a disciplined performance by them. i ****ing hope barca thrash them at old trafford bunch of dickeds. they go on about our 'defensive' style yet they play rooney as a defensive winger lol. we showed how you beat barca at nou camp last year, and the **** that man u have just put on, is not it.

I was pissing myself laughing at that one. I think Dunphy's forgotten who he writes for
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

                            Bill always does that though,
when he feels Eamonn is about to go over the top he usually interjects with a "ah, Eamonn you can't say that", and that is like the green light for the panel to say what they like for the next few mins..
Kind of like the starter's gun !!

The only time Bill meant it to stop a row, was when Dunphy stepped all over Rod Liddle legal ground, saying, and I quote, "leaving his wife to run off with some young one".........that was during his famous Keane rant i.e. the best piece of pure entertainment on TV EVER..

Barcelona striker Thierry Henry expects Tuesday's Champions League clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford to be far more open than the goalless semi-final first-leg stalemate.

Wednesday's match at the Nou Camp failed to live up to the pre-match hype as a defensive United side successfully held out for a draw.

The result was satisfying for both sides; United going home for the second leg level and Barca managing to avoid conceding an away goal.

And Arsenal legend Henry believes Tuesday's return will be 'different' as both sides attack with more space to play in.

'That's true. We might have more space but they will also create more danger,' said Henry, who is unlikely to start the match.

'Here they didn't play their game, because we played well and we expect something different there. On occasions Manchester wanted to play but couldn't. It's not easy to come here and play better than us.

                              'They wanted to but couldn't.'

Henry is unfazed by the prospect of a return to Old Trafford, scene of some epic battles during his Gunners career.

He told the club's website, fcbarcelona.cat: 'It's not like Anfield, which has an incredible atmosphere, but there is some atmosphere.

'It will be an important moment for them after playing Chelsea this Saturday especially knowing that playing against us won't be easy for them.

'With Arsenal we played some incredible games there. It was always a pretty fight.'

Barca's wretched domestic league form continued last night as Frank Rijkaard watched a weakened side lose limply to Deportivo La Coruna 2-0 in Galicia.

Despite resting the majority of his key players, Rijkaard was able to deploy a front three of Bojan Krkic, Henry and Giovani Dos Santos but the Frenchman and his team-mates produced yet another disappointing performance.

The league title has been beyond them for some time but Rijkaard insisted the Catalan giants were still fully concentrated on the clash at the Riazor and not on the United match.

Rijkaard said: 'No, the team was here.

'The defeat was the result of many factors: that we played another game a few days ago; the fact that there were a number of players on the pitch who lacked match rhythm; the absence of some players...'
