I tend to agree. Seeing the cynical tactics employed by the Chavs last night and the likes of Drogba and Terry in particular, and the fact that they were getting away with it all night, I'd be tempted to fight fire with fire at the Bridge. It really would a detriment to football be if such a snidy team got to the final, and may be even won the thing.

In tonight's case, "stupid" is the kind of player Eto'o is.

why not play advantage in case like that, if it doesn't pay off award the pen nontheless? otherwise refs just encourage players to go down every chance they get.

I thought he did ok in a very tough role. Very isolated but don't see what more he could have done really.

you dont have to go down to be awarded a pen. A world class ref could and should have awarded the penalty retrospectively. Most refs are ****ing useless and its a disgrace that the standards are so ****.

He's slightly over rated IMO. And when I say that I mean he is not a footballing god as some see him, but still very good. His link up play is shocking. He often struggles to find his man within 10 yards.

I was quite shocked at how poor he was...looked slower than I remembered him, touch wasn't great either...not impressed.

I dunno, as poor as barca are playing i think they will come alive on the big occasion of a CL final. I think if we get through we will have abetter chance of beating the mancaroos who are a team in my opinion punching massively over their weight. actually it's dowm to Arsenal and chelsea being ****e also that utd are winning the league. That, one Ronaldo and one solid defense. their team is littered with has beens and average joes. In a one off match I'd way prefer to play them than a team of superstars that on their day can blow you away and off their day, can still beat you.
