    Messi showed Ronaldo who's best!

Ronaldo was non-existent for the entire game bar 1 shot that went wide, whereas Messi stole the show. Just more proof on who hould win the footballer of the year award...
P.S. - Those ****en lucky pieces of dog turd should NEVER have beaten Barca, I cannot believe how lucky they've been this season! 2 shots on target after 90 mins, 3 shots on target after 180 mins against 6 & 8 shots on target & they go through - amazing!!!
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Messi consistently made the wrong decision in the final third and created no clear goal scoring opportunities. In a team with much less ball Ronaldo broke from deep, offered himself on the counter, created at least one good chance and had a couple of shots from memory. FWIW I think Messi is the better player but for me Ronaldo had the better game last night in the context of the rest of his teams performance.

I think United deserved to go through, sort of, in that they denied Barcelona any clear opportunities and both sides seemed to give the other too much respect or to not have enough faith in their ability. There was lots of nice looking skill from Barca but they produced **** all with it. The only moment of real class was Scholes shot and that decided the tie.

He did but Ronaldo's going to Moscow, Messi isn't.

Yeah I see the point both you and Dave are making, but for me there can be no doubt as to who the better footballer is. Messi is a little genius – it was his team-mates who let him down last night. Messi had a greater influence on the game itself (if not the outcome) and continually probed, while Ronaldo only fleetingly got involved.

I think Ronaldo played very well last night. Set up quite some possible chances, not his usual "i'll do all myself" game but I actually like this kind of play more.

He's a good player and a cheating cunt.

What would it take for Messi to become a Red apart from the money i mean. Can you see him ever leaving? Is he mates with Mascher?

Ah well. Can't agree really. Best player in the prem but he was tackled in possession so many times. Didn't show up last night. Can't be criticised for the first leg, as he was left on his own, but he had poor game.

                And Henry was ****e.

Barcelona took Messi on when he was about 12 years old, they raised him and paid for all the medical treatment he required for his stunted growth. Therefore he will not leave them anytime soon, he owes Barca to an extent from developing him

You are certainly right about that, it was an excellent shot, took advantage of the space available to them.
