    80mill, cheap that imo, But seriously, he's young, best years most likely ahead of him, it's not as if they will spend that sort of cash every season on a single player, a great investment for the next 6-7 yrs, the fans will adore him, & it's not as if there are many players around that will ever cost that much, 2 at the moment.

    Yes the money in football now is obscene, but mark my words, it'll only get worse.

    People always say it's about winning, & not necessarily entertainment, but with Messi you get both so long as you combine it with teamwork & work rate throughout the side. I would love to see him in a Liverpool shirt, plying his trade alongside Torres.

    As for Dic spending masses of cash, as i said, there are only two players in the world now that i would even consider paying anything near that for, sorry no that's one, as the other plays for a scummy side up the road.

      That will never happen. Kid will never ever leave Barca (only if they will push him out of club). Also looks like they have new manager for next season (Pep Guardiola) confirmed.
      TBFH I think that NotW just ran out of big story this sunday and put this **** on.
