Odd teams ppl you know support

Two people i know support Crsytal Palace, Crystal ****ing Palace
Also know a lad who supports West Brom

    WTF like???

How about you guys? Any team your mates support that aren't the norm really?

I suppose when someone doesn't support one of Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal you're a bit perplexed.

are you for real? are you drunk again marky...

surely supporting your home town/local team is less perplexed than just picking one of the top 4 out of a hat and supporting them?

My brother supports Watford. He started to support them during the early 80s when they had John Barnes , Nigel Callaghan etc and were a decent team under Graham Taylor.

I have a friend who supports a team called Everton. He is a bit of a **** so it makes sense.

I try to keep friends who are Liverpool fans. Makes for more delightful conversation instead of inbreded Manc fans who are just pure tabloid.

Know a few people who support Linfield and Glentoran. For anyone who doesn't know why this is odd, I suggest you try and watch one of their matches. Jesus you've seen better players in your 5-a-side teams.

what a strange thread! - tho somehow i know what ur getting at(i think )

I know loads of people who support a whole variety of things. What I i think marky(at least i hope ) is speaking about is the bizarre connections

ie - i work with someone who is born and bred from manchester yet supports Newcastle for no apparent reason! Another lad i knew from scunthorpe was a massive celtic fan yet had as much connection to scotland/catholics/celtic as I my left testicle
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Ah right, yeah, in that case I see. People who support seemingly random teams for no apparent reason?
I used to know a northern lad who claimed to support Norwich but I think that had something to do with him trying to be clever in the days of Jeremy Goss et al – I reckon he envisaged them becoming a force and was stuck with them once he’d put it out there that he was a Norwich fan

I have a mate (we're in Preston) who's mum is a mad Preston North End supporter, his dad and brothers are mad Tottenham fans (from darn sarth originally), so who does this bellend support? The Gooners. Very strange family in every sense of the word.

I also have many cousins who support Everton even though their mums and dads are reds. A dodgy uncle is usually the excuse. ****s.
