Best of luck anyway. Your lot probably play the best football of any of the playoff teams.

I've been invited to go down to Wembley on Saturday as my wifes family are based in Hull & I spent 9 years going to Uni & working over there (I kind of see them as my 3rd team) - they're all mad Hull City fans & have hired a mini coach

Haven't been to new Wembley so may take them up on the offer

Will be a good laugh anyway as I'll travel down with some old mates from Uni & be nice to watch a game where I can just sit back & take in the atmosphere without being the bag of nerves that I am whenever the Reds play...
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

ORR IS SO CLOSE TO REALISING HIS ANFIELD DREAM
        07:00 - 23 May 2008 [thisisbristol]

As A YOUNG boy, Bradley Orr watched his beloved Liverpool from the stands and dreamed of one day running out on Anfield's hallowed turf.

That dream should finally come true if Bristol City beat Hull in tomorrow's Coca-Cola Championship play-off final.

Victory at Wembley will send the Robins flying into the Premier League and present Orr with an opportunity to face his Liverpool heroes next season. And the 25-year-old Scouser admits the prospect of playing in front of family and friends on the famous Kop is driving him on ahead of the biggest game of his life.

"It's my dream to play at Anfield against Liverpool and I'd love to do it with Bristol City," declared Orr, who will start at right-back against the Tigers tomorrow.

"If that's the sort of reward we have to look forward to next season, there's no way we're going to let it slip on Saturday.

"For me personally, the thought of playing at Anfield is amazing.

"My dad used to take me when I was a lad and I remember sitting in the main stand and watching the likes of John Barnes and Peter Beardsley and thinking how much I would love to be out there myself one day.

"I still go to Anfield now when we don't have a game and I'll always be a massive Liverpool fan. If football's your thing as a kid and Liverpool is your team, of course you want to play there.

"Just knowing I have a chance to do that if we win on Saturday is a huge incentive."

Orr will be cheered on by an army of fans and well-wishers, who are making the long journey from Merseyside to watch the final.

He said: "Most of my family are reds and it's about more than just playing in the Premier League for me. It's about parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters and cousins. There's more than 70 family members and friends coming down from Liverpool to back me and City, and it will be fantastic if we manage to win. Then I'll start looking forward to a trip to Anfield next season.

"I've never been lucky enough to play at Anfield and I'd love the opportunity to put that right."

Orr also has an opportunity to complete an amazing journey, which has transformed him from zero to hero in the eyes of City fans.

Jailed for his part in a nightclub fracas in 2006, the Scouser served half of a month-long sentence in Bristol's Horfield Prison. But rather than make an example of him, City boss Gary Johnson and chairman Steve Lansdown chose to stand by the young defender and send him to Tony Adams' 'Sporting Chance' clinic.

And Orr has responded in magnificent fashion, displaying tremendous courage to turn his career around and earn the respect of everyone connected with the club.

He admitted: "It's been an incredible couple of years for me. Everybody goes through ups and downs and twists and turns in life and I've had my fair share.

"But I've come through that and now I'm 90 minutes away from being a Premier League player. I love playing for Bristol City and I love working for the gaffer and training with my team-mates.

"If we finish the job off at Wembley, it will be a dream come true for me. I'll have everything I want then."

Wembley's **** isn't it? The place lacks atmosphere and it never sells out.

I wonder how long it will take the FA to break even?

An absolutely superb goal. Campbell's bit of build up play was almost Torres-esque. And what a volley from the old boy.

Can you believe they decided to put the corporate seats smack in the middle facing the cameras? Almost always empty as the prawn sandwich munchers prefer to eat, dwink and be mewwy indoors.
