I can't believe I'll be shouting myself hoarse for Chelsea to win and that I'll have a wry smile if Drogba goes spralling under a nothing challenge from Wes Brown in the area, with the ref pointing to the spot.

"COME ON CHELSEA" (muffles voice out of embarrassment)
Makes me want to vomit all over the place.

This 'game of games' last season produced one of the worst FA Cup finals in living memory.

It's my ****ing birthday on the 21st. No ****ing way am I letting the sight of a manc or chav **** holding the cup ruin it, noo ****ing chance. The thought of Drogba getting his hands on the cup makes me want to hunt him down and slowly torture the ****. Let's see you dive without your kneecaps dickhead I may check who won at 12.01am on the 22nd though, curiosity will get the better of me

The game is abandoned after 5 men get sent off from each team and UEFA are so disgusted they hand the Cup to Pool are third place winners by virtue of the fact they outscored Barcelona in the semis.

They wouldn't. UEFA would say it's Liverpools fault that 10 men got sent off in the final and they'd give it to Barca.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies!!

The Spirit of Shankly could just issue a press release asking Barca to hand it over.

After the last couple of days I'm beginning to fear for the Mancs and Chelsea fans. Moscow police will be totally zero tolerance because the reputation of British fans has been put back 20 years after what happened in Manchester. Whisper it quietly, but I'm glad I'm not there.

As much as I don't like either team, I hope everyone gets home safely (I know a couple of Mancs from uni who are going) because everyone who goes to a football match deserves to come home safely.

If I had to predict I'll say Chelsea on penalties, but I won't be watching because I've already arranged a date in one of the few bars in Liverpool that won't be showing it.

My son Foster is a fan of soccer. He was a goaltender. His brother was a defenseman.

Any chance of changing the title of this thread to Evil vs The Lesser of Two Evils?

I'm going to tape the game though, find out who won, if chelsea have won I'll fast forward to the end to watch the mancs crying

if, God forbid, the mancs have won...... DELETE

Just seen Makelele put in a two footed lunge on Ashley Cole in training there.

                        WTF!

Cole's right ankle strapped up and looks in pain.

The guy would have seen a red if he'd done that in a game.

Taking out their own players before they even start.

                          Champions League Final 2008

I might as well start a thread on it. I know people will come on here with a smiley but secretly everyone is going to watch it and every Liverpool fan is going to be supporting Chelsea and want Avram to show two fingers up to Fergie's red nose.

                          Possible teams:

Manchester United: Van Der Sar, Brown, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Ronaldo, Hargreaves, Carrick, Scholes, Rooney, Tevez

Chelsea: Cech, Ferreira, Terry, Carvalho, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Essien, Cole, Malouda, Drogba

Chelsea defender Ashley Cole suffered an injury scare in training with his team-mates at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League final.

The England left-back appeared to get a kick on his ankle after a challenge from team-mate Claude Makelele.

He stayed down for a long time before being helped off the field by Chelsea staff, although did then gingerly begin running again to try and overcome the problem.

Cole had the injury to his right ankle sprayed and then strapped up by medical staff and then tried to run the injury off by taking part in a training match.

But he did not appear to be moving freely and his session ended before that of his colleagues.

Fellow England left-back Wayne Bridge could step in if Cole does not manage to prove his fitness.
