    Aidan Mcgeady

    Won SPL player of the year and young player of the year.

    Only seen him play a few times in Europe, but he has always impressed.

    At 22 I think he could develop into a top player if he moves to a top club.

    Anybody rate him?

    i personally like him and he never seems scared to run at defences. pacy???

      He hasn't done enough to convince me he's top class.

      I think he's good but not very good.

      As for the Scottish player of the year accolade - Barry Ferguson and Styllian Petrov were both the best player in the SPL before they moved down south and they both flopped badly in the premier league. Being the best player in Scotland isn't the most reliable measure of true quality.

          Good player with a lot of ability but a huge risk

          An affordable risk 12 months ago but having had the season he had with Celtic his price would have gone through the roof and you would probably get a proven International player from a top league in Europe for a similar amount of money

          I would think he'll end up at Newcastle or somewhere like that for silly money
