It's a good point. I like his style but not having followed any of his non-English teams I feel less well equiped to judge him. A lot of what he did this season seemed like common sense to me - but it was brave and not what others do to play football out of trouble.

I think his man management skills are superb, he has turned around the careers of campbell, james, johnson, defoe, these were guys who were going nowehre quickly and had lost a lot confidence. You look at them now and they are so much better now. I can see him picking up Crouch from us and making him a real goal scoring threat again.

As for hwho is better, not much to choose between moyes harry hughes and o neil/
He spent comedy amounts on players that no longer get in his team before though. He bought Davies, Mendes, Pamarot and a couple of others when he came in to save them from the drop. None of the other teams around him could match that spending in January (especially after the previous manager had spunked loads of money on a load of French league crap).

I hate to say this, I really do, but the best British Manager IMO is David Moyes. Redknapp is a very close second but Moyes would edge it because he has consistently finished higher in the league and had the odd day trip into Europe.

I would LOVE Harry redknapp to get a shot at managing LFC. I think he would win us the league and on more than one occasion.

Interesting view. I think he would consider coming to Liverpool. He has always talked about how he loves Liverpool and if there was only one place Jamie was going to be sold, it was Liverpool so no doubt, there is some affection with him and Liverpool. I wouldn't mind him coming but I'm somewhat happy with Rafa around
