Where the feck have the Middlesboro' fans gone? The number of empty seats around the pitch was disgusting. They should remember the bad old days of being kicked out of Ayresome Park, and then thank their lucky stars that they're in the position they are.

Micah Richards. How long is it gonna be before somebody snaps this young lad up? For me - he's every bit as impressive as Ashley Cole was when he broke into the Arsenal team - and made it to the England squad. I predict he'll break into the England set up within 12 months.

Jenas. How?

Wigan. Their bubble has burst. The second season is always gonna be more difficult than the first and they'll do well to avoid a relegation battle.

He certainly was lucky yesterday. The amount of fouls he got away with was incredible.

Was reading some blog from an MOTD producer and he said it's because the camera gantry is in the main stand which is usually always full, and it faces the stand no one goes in, hence the ground looks empty.

The ground holds 35000 and there were 26000 there yesterday, I guess that's not great mind.

if i had to buy one city player, I reckon it would be that big lad up front, daniel sturridge. Hes gonna ge a goodun him. Power, pace and knows where the net is. Good touch and awareness

Yeah Richards looks a fearsome prospect. Bullish power, lots of pace, committed, strong, fearless and possibly the best six pack in the Premiership. Citeh fans over here in Scumchester rave about him.

How can people be raving about Daniel Sturridge? I’m assuming you’ve only seen him in the two legs of the FA Youth Cup final against us? He had a totally **** first leg and a good second leg (complete with great goal)…but is that it?

Who’s that other City kid…the youngster, who went on a few outrageously long, pacey dribbles recently? Left winger I think….Nathan summat possibly?
